What are my delivery options?

I provide FREE delivery on all orders of £40 or over to a UK mainland address. This will be via Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class delivery. You will be notified once your order has been shipped. Please allow 3 or 4 days for your order to reach you once it has been dispatched.

If your order is under £40 and being delivered to a mainland UK address, delivery is £2.50.

For other delivery options and shipping details for international delivery, please get in touch. I’m more than happy to organise a way of getting your bracelet to you quickly, safely, wherever in the world its new home will be. Drop me an email at: claire@stopforamoment.com

When will I receive my order?

I work on my own and do everything with love and care. From sourcing the best materials I can, to creating these beautiful little bracelets, adding them to the website and making sure they’re packaged safely and delivered to the post office. It’s all me. I will endeavour to have your order shipped within 2-3 days of placing the order, but please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to reach you. If you need it any sooner, just drop me a message and I’ll see what I can do. I can usually fast track an order if it’s urgent – there may be additional postage to pay depending on how soon you need it.

How do I look after my bracelet?

With love and care.

– Always slide it over your hand and onto your wrist. It is delicate and despite the strong stretchy cord, it should be rolled on rather than stretched.

– Avoid immersing your bracelet in water (showers, baths, swimming pools, the sea) and avoid chemical exposure (for example hand sanitiser, body oil, perfume, hair spray) as these are particularly harsh and can degrade the crystal stones and elastic thread.

– Handle your bracelet with care. If knocked or dropped, the stones may crack or break.

– To cleanse and charge your crystals, leave them on the windowsill overnight when it’s a full moon and when you’re not wearing your bracelet, keep it stored safely in its little cotton bag. Also, if you have any selenite crystal, this is a wonderful cleansing stone to position near your bracelet.

What materials do you use to make the bracelets?

Crystals
Bracelets are made from beautiful crystals – each stone is unique and hand-selected by me from a number of suppliers. As the crystals originate from nature, there may be slight variations in sizing, shape and some ‘marks’ on/within the crystals. This is part of their beauty. Know that any flecks of different colours within your crystals are entirely part of their natural form and what makes them so perfectly unique. Like us, our imperfections are where the wonder lies.

Gold / Silver
All metal beads are either sterling silver, 18 Karat gold plated (for the larger gold beads), gold vermeil (24 Karat gold plated sterling silver) or rose gold vermeil (24 Karat rose gold plated sterling silver).

Elastic
The bracelets are threaded on strong elastic. These are tightly knotted with a dot of glue for added strength and security. Ideally, these should be rolled onto your wrist instead of stretched.

Letter Beads
Letter beads are acrylic.

Glass Beads
The glass beads are precision-made in Japan and are some of the finest quality glass beads in the world.

How will my bracelet be packaged?

Your bracelet will be carefully packaged in a grey hand-sewn 100% cotton bag with a silk drawstring. It will be packaged in a padded envelope and all packaging is fully recyclable. Your order will also contain a hand-written note from me outlining the intention behind your bracelet.

Can I add a gift message?

Yes, of course! Every order comes with a hand-written note from me. Please add a message in the notes box at checkout and I will add this note to your order.

What does the size measurement mean?

Size measurements show the circumference of the bracelet, not the wrist measurement. For example, my wrist is 14.5cm and I wear all the bracelets – they naturally just sit on slightly different parts of my wrist.
As each bracelet is handmade, one of a kind, and unique, measurements are approximate rather than exact.
Small – 16.5cm
Medium – 17cm/17.5cm
Large – 18cm

Can you tell me about the charity donation?

Of course! I’ve always wanted to give back in some way. By giving a donation of the profits to charity for every bracelet sold, we can make a difference. The charity will change every few months and I will advertise those changes through my newsletter and Instagram account.

Do you personalise bracelets?

I love to personalise bracelets! Email me at claire@stopforamoment.com with your request and I will let you know if I have the crystals available to make it for you. If not, I can usually source the crystals within a week, so as long as you are not in too much of a hurry, I can make it happen for you.

What if I want a bracelet but you’ve sold out?

What if the one I want isn’t in my wrist size?

If it’s in stock, I can re-make the bracelet and make it smaller or larger if you specify in the notes box at checkout that you need this alteration. It may take a few days to personalise this for you.

Can these bracelets be given to children?

These bracelets are designed for adults. Small parts are a choking hazard and they are not toys.

What is your returns policy?

Under legislation known as the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, you have the right to cancel your order. You have 14 working days from the day after the date on which the order was delivered to you. Please email me within 14 days of delivery to let me know the item you are returning and the reason for the return (see returns procedure below). I will confirm the return and send you details of the return address. The return of goods must also take place within this 14 day period. I am happy to provide a refund or exchange on new and unused items as long as they have their original gift bag packaging. ‘New and unused’ means there are no marks on the item, it has not been worn or used, does not smell of perfume or any other aroma and is returned in perfect saleable condition. I will not be able to accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been worn, washed, and/or don’t have their gift pouch.

How do I return/exchange an item?

Exchanges:
I can only exchange an item for a different style/colour if stock is available. Please note that if your initial order qualified for free shipping, this offer is only applicable to the initial order and not for exchanged items. You will be responsible for paying for shipping the exchanged item back to you. Exchanged items can only be dispatched once the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check.

Exchange/Returns procedure:
1. To arrange a return or exchange, please email claire@stopforamoment.com putting EXCHANGE or RETURN and your order reference number in the subject heading. Please include your name, address and contact number, details of the product including the order date, and the reason for exchange or return. I will then confirm if it is possible to process your request and issue you a RETURNS REFERENCE NUMBER. If you wish to exchange the item, please state the exact desired item so that if this is in stock, it can be reserved for you immediately. Please do not return your order unless you receive confirmation from us that your order is returnable and you receive a returns reference number.

2. Once you have received confirmation, please return the item (with gift pouch) and your Returns Reference Number (this can be included in the packaging on a piece of paper or written clearly on the back of the packaging you are returning the item in).
3. Please securely wrap and package the item and send it to the address given in your Return/Exchange confirmation email. I advise you to return your unwanted order via a secure, traceable postal service (with insurance for the value of the item being returned). If in the UK, I advise Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ or ‘Special Delivery’ services. ‘Stop for a Moment’ does not accept any responsibility for return postage costs, nor for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. These are the responsibility of the customer.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your unwanted order has been received within the stated timescale above, I will begin to process your refund request. Each item will undergo a quality control check and once verified, your refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving your returned order. All undamaged, unworn and correctly returned items will be credited to the original customer’s credit or debit card.

What if my bracelet is faulty?

In the rare event that the item you order is delivered faulty or damaged, please email me on claire@stopforamoment.com and inform me of this. Please provide your order number and date of purchase, as well as clear images of the faulty item. I cannot process product fault claims if I do not receive clear visual evidence of the faulty item. Any faults as a result of wear and tear, accidental damage or undue care as per our care instructions on our website, will not be accepted as faulty. I am happy to repair faulty items free of charge if the fault is a production fault and not due to natural wear and tear or undue care.

What if it breaks?

Understandably, due to the delicate nature of bracelets, sometimes they may break. Please email me at claire@stopforamoment.com to let me know the bracelet that you need repairing and whether you have all the beads. If you have all the beads, send them back to me and I will repair the bracelet free of charge (not including postage and packaging). If you need replacement beads, please let me know by email and I may need to apply a small charge for the repair.
